Our Forest Operations team is growing and we are seeking a suitably qualified Forester to deliver quality silviculture programs. You will be key in engaging and coordinating contractors getting our trees in the ground. You’ll ensure these activities are carried out to the standards that have earned us dual forest certification. If you have a love for the outdoors but also don’t mind sitting at a desk, love to problem solve, and thrive being part of a team, this is the role for you.
Reporting to the District Manager Fraser Coast South you will be located in our Toolara office, close to both the townships of Gympie and Tin Can Bay and at the back door of the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
The successful applicant will hold:

Bachelor of Forest Science (or other relevant tertiary qualification) or a Diploma level forestry (or related field) qualification with extensive experience;
- Unrestricted “C” class drivers’ licence;

Sector Commander fire accreditation, or ability and willingness to acquire; and
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Forester that involved coordinating contractors to deliver quality silviculture, stewardship, and/or fire protection services.
