Inland and North Qld - Imbil
Reporting to the Regional Planning Manager – Inland and North Queensland you will carry out planning activities consistent with HQPlantations stewardship and operational practices and standards.
This role provides an opportunity for the right candidate to work closely with the regional planning and operational teams, assisting with tactical and operational planning, monitoring stewardship standards and participating in the region's fire management response. The role also involves engagement with regional communities in which we operate, including coordinating projects with indigenous groups, neighbours, local councils, state agencies, community groups and other forest user groups.
The successful applicant will hold either:
Bachelor of Forest Science (or other relevant tertiary qualification)
Diploma level forestry (or related field) qualification with extensive experience.
