Harvesting closure announcement

Mile and Aquarter Road access through Jimna Forest will be closed from 19 February 2026 due to forestry harvesting operations in compartment 5 Davies Logging Area, SF 207 Jimna State Forest.

Haulage trucks will be operating along this narrow winding road. For safety reasons, the road and the nearby access tracks will be closed to all recreational users and the general public. Signage and barriers will be in place to identify restricted zones. We ask all road users, hikers and cyclists to observe these closures and avoid the area while operations are underway. 

HQP appreciates the community’s understanding and cooperation during this important activity and encourage all road users to exercise caution and be mindful of changed traffic conditions.
