Industry Campaigns

The Ultimate RenewableIndustry organisations have united for a number of active campaigns to promote the environmental benefits and competitive advantages of Australian forestry and wood products.

Wood: The Ultimate Renewable promote the natural advantages of wood and its positive contribution to reducing the effects of climate change. It is an industry campaign resourced by Forest and Wood Products Australia Pty Ltd and supported by peak bodies, technical associations and companies and organisations throughout the forestry and wood products supply chain.

Frame with Timber is a campaign encourages builders and homeowners to make timber framing a conscious choice, reinforcing the association between what’s holding up the house and what’s best for our future.

Buy Aussie Timber First is an initiative of the Australian Forest Products Association, promotes the quality of Australian timber products, as well as the fact that they are renewable, store carbon and underpin many regional communities.

Make It Wood is Planet Ark’s campaign to promote the role that responsibly sourced wood can play in tackling climate change. The campaign details the benefits of wood and explains how wood can be used as a building material and for everyday items.

National Tree Day is Australia’s largest community tree-planting and nature care event. A call to action for all Australians to get their hands dirty and give back to the community, National Tree Day promotes the importance of our forests, and attracts about 300,000 people to volunteer their time to environmental activities every year.
