No public access to Three Lagoons, Toolara between 27 July to 17 August 2026

HQPlantations will be undertaking prescribed burns in the Lagoons area commencing 27th July.

For safety reasons, the Lagoons area will be closed to members of the public for approximately 3 weeks. All access gates to the Lagoons area will be locked and signage will be in place to remind visitors of the closure.

Prescribed burns are planned, low intensity fires aimed at reducing fuel loads within our estate areas to ultimately reduce the potential threat of wildfires to the plantation, the surrounding communities and infrastructure. 

Prescribed burns are undertaken by fire-trained employees and contractors. Our prescribed burns are performed under specific weather conditions aimed to minimise smoke impacts. Inevitably, there will however be some smoke in the environment.
