Dorrie Day 2025

On 28 August, HQP staff, Sharon and Tolita participated as an exhibitor at the annual Dorrie Day in Bundaberg for the second consecutive year. Dorrie Day has established itself as an important platform for promoting cultural connections, educational opportunities, and career pathways for First Nations students and the broader community. Organisers anticipated that Dorrie Day 2025 had well over 1000 participants, upholding their commitment to deliver an event of exceptional quality—a vibrant celebration of resilience, culture, and community, led by the First Nations Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng & Taribelang Bunda Peoples Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (PBC). The event was a wonderful experience that was described as being more than just an event, but a movement of cultural pride, career dreaming, and community empowerment. We look forward to Dorrie Day 2026.
