Group Activities

An Organised Event permit is required for any group activities in our plantations where the size of the group is five or more for motorised activities (four wheel driving and motor bike riding) or 15 or more for non-motorised activities (hiking, mountain biking, weddings, etc) even it is free to participate. If there is a participant fee, please enquire whether a Commercial Activity permit is required.

Commercial Activities

A Commercial Activity permit: Filming and photography is required for any filming and photography if it involved structures or 10 or more people, even if there is no commercial gain. Even if your filming and photography does not require a permit, you must obtain HQPlantations permission for the location where you wish to filming for safety and to ensure there is no conflict with forest operations and other permits granted for the same area. Please enquire whether your filming or photography requires a permit.

 

A Commercial Activity permit: Non-filming is required for commercial activities in our plantations, such as tours and commercial events including trail running, adventure racing, orienteering, mountain bike races, etc. Please enquire whether your event is a Commercial Activity or an Organised Event.

Competitive Events

A Permit to Traverse is required for competitive horse riding and motor sport events in our plantations.
