HQPlantations sustainably manages 330,000 hectares of forest throughout the state of Queensland including softwood and hardwood plantations. These plantations produce up to of 2.3 million cubic metres of logs annually that support both domestic and export industries.

Due to ongoing fires in our plantations and worsening conditions tomorrow, all HQPlantations pine plantations south of Mackay will remain closed for the rest of the week. The situation will be reassessed on Friday 15 November.

Upgrades to the HQPlantations managed section of Cooyal-Neerdie Road are now completed. The road is now open to the public but a reminder to please always drive to the conditions.
