Lannercost plantation closure

For public safety, all parts of Lannercost State Forest north of Wallaman Falls Road are closed until further notice following the recent fire, which burned approximately 2,000 hectares.
Plantation forests south of Mackay closed

Despite some scattered rainfall over the past 10 days, low humidity, dry gusting winds and high temperatures continue to elevate the fire risk profile in southern Queensland’s plantation forests.
As a result, all plantation forests south of Mackay are closed to the public until further notice.
Bouldering and fossicking restricted in Passchendaele State Forest
